How to Find If Someone Has Opened Your Email Inbox?
How can I find out if someone else has used my email account or not? Find out that someone in the office is reading your email – are you worried that some people are reading your email messages secretly and then marking them as UNREAD?
Email Snooping is real employers are looking at and reading employees’ personal emails at work.
Some surveys have shown that a large number of companies hire employees to read and analyze the outbound e-mail sent by their employees to the snoopers. They monitor email communication under security debates that outgoing email may contain confidential data or expose the company to some legal risk.
And this is not just a corporate email that goes through lotus or Microsoft Exchange Server – companies can read your web-based email from Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, AOL or Hotmail

If you are also worried that someone in your organization secretly monitors your email, here’s a simple move to confirm the doubt:
Step 1: Create a dummy web page on external websites like geocities.com or Google page. Make sure that you do not share the web address (URL) of that page with anyone else in the world.
Step 2: Geto sitemeter.com or statcounter.com (or any web statistics program) and generate a tracking code for web pages created in the previous step. Copy-paste the tracking code into your web page.
Both StatController and Sitemetter are free web analytics services that help you know what your web pages and who have visited.
Step 3: Write a new email message from the office that has a hyperlink on the web page you just created. Keep the topic and body of the email message interesting (and stimulating) so that if an email snooper is present, then the office will enjoy checking that email before leaving the vault.
For example, the email subject can say “confidential company presentation” and the message body can say “I uploaded that presentation.” Please download it here. ”

And that’s the trap. As soon as Snooper Linkes to a web page, click on the link in the email, that visit will be recorded by your web analytics package. Then you can see the IP address and other details to confirm the location of the person who read that “secret” email message.
How to check if your email was read?
Even if your fear is being confirmed, you do very little to prevent your organization from monitoring your electronic correspondence. However, there is a good online service called hidelinks.com that helps you protect emails that you share in email messages. To go to the site mentioned in the email, the recipient must type the password you set.
