The second level of permission is explicitly permitted. Confirmed permission often works in two levels:

  • At level 1, a person shows a clear interest in becoming part of your weekly email list, as if you filled out the customer’s form on your site.
  • In level 2, you send an email by asking him to confirm the decision to join your list by clicking on a link or answering the confirmation email with a specific message.
