How to Publish Your Favorite Website in a Single Web Page with Zoho Notebook?
How do you share a bunch of websites with friends? Generally, you put all links in an email message and send it, but this approach is confusing and cumbersome.
How do you share a bunch of websites with grandmother? Generally, you put all the links in an email message and send it across.
It’s fine, but imagine if the list of your websites is long – it will need to click a lot more and it will also end opening many browser windows on the desktop.
So here’s another beautiful solution that uses the Zoho notebook – a very powerful note app on the lines of Microsoft OneNote. And you can easily access your existing Yahoo! Or Google Account credentials.
First of all, check this public page to find out what the final solution would look like. And here are the various steps involved:
Create a new book in the Zoho notebook and click “Add Web Page” from the toolbox in the left sidebar. Type the URL of the website (eg Cnn.com).
Continue this process until you add all your favorite web pages to that particular book.
These web pages will appear as vertical tabs in the right sidebar. You can double click on the tab to give them a more meaningful name (eg CNN). You can also change the order of the websites tab by simply dragging them up or down.
When you’re done, publish -> go to the book. Copy the URL of the Zoho notebook and email it in your category – it will like it. Here’s a finished presentation.
Zoho Notebook also provides annotation tools for web pages so that you can highlight sections before integrating into a single webpage, add freehands images to web pages and more.
