How to Know the Sleeping Time of Anyone on Twitter?
The new version of sleeping time is now live on livetime.org.
Sleeping time, if you are new, is a web app that allows you to determine the sleeping patterns of any Twitter user as long as they have a public profile on Twitter.

Sleeping time was launched in 2010 and since then, this app has been used to create more than 500,000 Twitter users’ sleep schedules. The response was unpredictable and it also brought it to the first page of a newspaper.
The app reads the timeline stamp of a Twitter user’s last 1,000 tweets and then estimates his sleep cycle based on hours when he is at least active on Twitter.
To get started, sign in with your Twitter account (it will not post anything on Twitter on your behalf) and any user can see their sleeping pattern by entering the user’s username.
Here’s what’s new / converted to sleeping time v2.0:
- The algorithm is tweaked and the app should thus provide an estimate of more accurate sleep.
- Sleeping time is now a responsive design game
- Internally, the app is now powered by WordPress (PHP), whereas the previous version was on the Google App Engine (Python).
- The app is better for handling the limits of the Twitter API, which is implemented next month.
