How to Remotely Control Your Windows PC with Email or SMS by TweetMyPC Utility?

It is a long weekend and you are happy because you will have to spend with your family in the next three days. You left the office in an upbeat mood, but when the cab was coming home, suddenly you realized that you forgot to close the office PC. Oops!

This is a drowning spirit because there are so many confidential documents on the computer and since most of your trusted associates have left for the day, so there is no point in calling them for help.

So what do you do? Drive back to the office? Well it is not necessary – just remove your cell phone or switch to laptop at home, send an email (or an SMS or a tweet) and it will lock your office workstation immediately. And if you share the same computer with multiple people, you can use another email command to remotely log off or shut down the computer from anywhere in the world.

There is no magic here, it is the power of TweetMyPCutility, which allows you to remote control your computer from any mobile phone or any other Internet connected computer.

It works like this. You first install the free TweetMyPC utility on any Windows PC and add it to your Twitter account. The app will quietly monitor its Twitter stream for any desktop command every minute and if someone finds it, then it will work on it immediately.
