Write Beautiful Photo Slideshow in Notepad
It’s easy to create a video slideshow with photos. Simply import your image collection in any slideshow creator, choose a music track, transition effect and produce the video. But what about editing it later?
It’s easy to create a video slideshow with photos. Import your image collection to Photo Story (or Windows Movie Maker), choose a music track to play with the slideshow and present. The photo story can also add the famous Ken Burns Effect that, which you can see in some documentary videos on the History Channel.
The second option is to use a web application such as Animoto which creates an impressive MTV style video in seconds. This is only a web browser and, unlike photo story which works only with local images, Animoto can pull images directly from Flickr, Facebook and other online photo sites.
Problem with photo slideshow software
When creating slideshows from scratch is simple, things are complicated when you need to edit existing photo slideshow. For example, if you need to make small edits, then you need to make small edits such as changing the transition from the Fed or changing or changing two pictures with another set.
Enter Stupeflix – This is an online service that makes the task of creating and editing photo slideshows as simple as writing a simple HTML web page.
To get started, first upload all the images to Stupeflix and then add text captions (optional). Click Generate and your slideshow video is ready to download in Quicktime MP3 format.
The interesting part is that in addition to submitting the video, Stupffix also creates a text file that describes every part of your slideshow, so if the slideshow needs to be changed later, just edit this text file. And re-present the movie.
The Ken Burns effect was applied to an image with a duration of 10 seconds in the early version of the slide show. With a simple edit, I could change the duration and could also change Ken Burns with a new “explosion” effect.
Not only this, it is also possible to add new media files from the text file to the slideshow as I did in the blue.jpg image.
Stupeflix’s default web interface will not allow you to upload non-image formats, but you can hack the XML file and insert a video file into your photo slideshow.
